This problem can show itself by an interior light staying on and draining the battery, or sometimes by the alarm triggering several minutes after locking the car.

Tools Required:
Plastic Wire Cutters


To fix the door switch it was removed. This resulted in the backing ring falling inside the door. The correct procedure for removing the switch can be found in the FSM.






Next the black plastic door plunger pin was pulled outwards using a pair of wire cutters (Do not cut!). The pin will come out slightly and fix the problem. If not, purchase a replacement switch and replace.
