ZR-1 engines, but now that has all changed! We are now offering two new kits. 
The difference with the Jeal kit is the tool quality and price. The pricing is 
based on using the Kent-Moore's 1998 Jobber or Wholesale price sheet. The prices 
reflected are ONLY 70% of the 1998 WHOLESALE PRICES! Check it out. 

The first kit is what we call a "TOP END" kit. The tools in this kit will allow a 
person to install and degree camshafts. The tool assembly includes:

It does not require GM to do anything for free to your car *unless* you have a failure of the exhaust manifolds or cats that is still under the 5/50000 emissions controls warranty. 

Subject: LT5 Exhaust Manifold Servicing 

Model: 1990-92 Chevrolet Corvette with 5.7L Engines (VIN J-RPO LT5) and 6 Speed Manual Transmission. 

When servicing the exhaust manifolds on 1990-1992 Corvettes with LT5 engines, use the following parts. These parts are the 1992 production exhaust manifold parts. Use the 1993 production exhaust manifold bolt pattern and torque specification. Plug the EGR hole on the RH (right hand) exhaust manifold with a 1/4 inch pipe plug. Tap hole approximately one inch down with a 1/4 inch pipe tap. See table below for pipe plug part number.
