This is the module that bolts to the bottom of the plenum.  There is nothing wrong with the unit. It came off of a late 1990 with 36,000 miles. These seldom fail, but if you really need one they are almost impossible to find. The module and many other parts were replaced when troubleshooting a severe drivability  problem that appeared to be spark and or fuel related.
