Above is what is left after removing the plenum.

See the Plenum removal project for more

detail on removing the plenum.

Look, de plenum, de plenum

it's out andflying over to the top

of the freezer.

The sequence here is a bit messed up.

This is a shot of the cavity with the A/C unit removed.

Above it the old A/C unit with the

clutch and pulley removed. The

next series of pics will show how

to put these back on. It you are

disassembling you can do the

next few pics in reverse.

The pulley and pressure plate above.

Note, the solenoid is under the pulley.

Putting in the clip at the base of the solenoid above.

Putting the pulley onto the solenoid.

Note the jagged clip that retains the

pulley.

Inserting the jagged clip.

Pressing the clip in to make sure

it is seated.

Now to attach the pressure plate

And now for the nut.

Inserting the A/C unit and making

sure nothing gets pinched.

One of the fasteners.

The front fastener. I think this one

is the one that goes into the water

pump. Tricky if you don't know

this and are trying to remove the

water pump.
